Title: Low light auto focus A7 vs A7R (looking for info)
Post by: jfirneno on December 19, 2013, 12:05:33 pm
I rented the A7 (because it was said it had the better AF) and found the low light auto-focus "adequate".  But now I'm reading a few on-line statements to the effect that in low light the CDAF of the A7R is more accurate than the hybrid auto-focus (whatever that really turns out to be in low light) of the A7.  Would like to make up my mind about buying one of these soon so since I don't want to rent the A7R too I was hoping that maybe someone out there has compared their low light autofocus performance.

Regards,
John
