Title: X100s - LOVE it!
Post by: DanielStone on November 23, 2013, 02:09:12 am
I purchased a 2nd hand X100s(actually I purchase 99% of my equipment used) off of CL this afternoon, and after taking a nice 1.5hr walk around town to get used to it, I'm smitten... Exactly what I wanted/needed in a small digital.

This camera is awesomesauce! Super light, and this lens seems to be SUPER sharp(even wide open)! To ME, the "lack" of lens-interchangeability is a big +. Just use your legs as the "zoom". Get a workout while you shoot :D

Anyhow, I'm looking forward to this remaining in the tool chest for a good, long while yet. This and my 5x7 Deardorff should make a bangin combo for the next 2mo's travels south of the equator.

guessing there's a few more Fuji lovers out there, hence why 4/5 of my LF lenses are Fuji, and I also use a GX680 system. Fuji does it right!

I have been using my X100 the past two years, still going strong! It is an ideal combination of quality and compactness. This monday I will be receiving my X-E2, my X100 will not be sold. I am getting the interchangeable body so I can completely replace my DSLR kit when traveling.

Have fun with your X100S, very powerful tool!

Yes, Fuji got it right with the X100s. I love mine.

I've had my X100S for about a month. Totally in love with it. I also bought the X-E2 w/18-55 lens. I have the Zeiss Touit 12mm and 32mm and Fuji 55-200mm lenses for my X-E2 as well. All great. and 1/2 the weight and bulk of my Canon 5D Mark III kit.

Check out this Fuji X fan dedicated website: http://www.fujix-forum.com/index.php/index

Cheers.
