Title: ACDSee users
Post by: Phil Indeblanc on November 21, 2013, 12:23:35 pm
Any one using ACDSee Pro 6 notice that the Metadata info doesn't work often when I first launch?  I have to relaunch the app, then it loads just fine, then I can see the Exif and IPTC info. otherwise it says something like not available.

If it started back up from the same place I left off it maybe less painful, as I wouldn't have to navigate a bunch a folders to get back to the same spot. But my setup makes more sense to start from C drive then navigate.

Sorry... I have ACDSee Pro 6, but I rarely use it, preferring LR.  ACDSee Pro 7 is out now for $50 or something like that.

Mike.

Ahh, well if they don't fix the loading of the metadata, I'm not upgrading. $59 is not much of a deal when all I use is the browser. I tried the dev tool, and while I like somethings about it, the increments that changes are made are too strong. With LR I can only tell what is in the catalog. ACDsee is a true browser AND can catalog your files.
