The expedition shots were really intriguing; I've done some free climbing in my day, but I don't know how much sleep I'd get knowing my tent was anchored to a tiny piece of metal embedded in the rock face.

I share you thoughts about Portaledges (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portaledge)… Not only, the whole thing is not very stable but protection from falling rocks is inexistant.
