Post by: julienlanoo on October 30, 2013, 05:52:47 am
- Adobe Ps CS 6 -> bug -> menues disapear / blanc out suddenly ( mostely on the moment you want to save) ..
- PS cs6 -> autosave is disabled after updating watch out for that, didnt get it to work yet
- PS cs6 you have to get all your colour settings right agan ofter updating

- printers : Epson 3800 does not exhist with correct driver yet ( hopefully epson will solve that)

- plus point -> no problems with temporary files at this moment :)

That's the joy of being a late adopter of an OS - by the time you buy, the bugs have been fixed.

Please don't adopt an OS the first few months it is out. In the very very least don't do so on a production machine.

It always takes time for the links to get worked out.

The same is so true of cameras ...

been running mavericks for a week now on my laptop.  No problems with PS CC, LR 5.2, epson 11880, 4900, 9900.  Other than a minor glitch with Capture one which hasn’t repeated, seems to be running fine.

Installed it on my main machine a couple of days ago.  No issues there either.

I do always clone my boot drive over to a backup which I can boot from or even restore from,  so really not taking much of a chance when I test new OS’s.

I have no problem with printing to my 3800 in Mavericks.

Eizo colour navigator doesn't work (it works bit will not let me re-calibrate)
Photoshop CS6 has random tool freezes as if the computer is out of ram/scratch, switching to another app in the finder and back again sometimes un-freezes it.
Very annoying.
