I would like recommendations for double sided matte papers for photo books, say 11x14" or smaller pages.

Actual mat or photo mat?

If you want matt - Moab Entrada rag is a good option. Either natural or bright white. Also available in different weights. The 180gsm is good for books.

If it has to be less expensive; Innova IFA25 Decor Art. About 210 gsm. Alpha Cellulose, no or low OBA content. Lab 98 -0.2 2.0. So a high white, slightly warm paper. Hardly visible texture. There are identical papers from Harman by HM and Hahnemühle itself.

Just did a book with innova IFA05, with guaranteed short grain. Excellent results, printed on Epson4900. Then folded and bookbinded by an old-fashoined bookbinder. Addition: Is compared to IFA25 a little whiter with a small amount of OBA, and cotton based. IFA25 is also very good.

Thanks to everybody who contributed!
But it would be interesting to know solutions for book "gluing" together - to make it as real book?
What solutions you use people?

If you are handy you can try this. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Av_rU-yOPd4)

Red River has several matte double-sided options. If you call them they will send some samples free. Here is a link: http://www.redrivercatalog.com/ (http://www.redrivercatalog.com/). Red River is a very helpful company and some of their paper is quite good. On the other hand some is disappointingly average so get the sample and see what you think.
