The two custom workspace files are now in the Extras folder. Windows install instructions still missing...

For those who are interested in using C1, this is a must view. As all of Michael's tutorials, this is filled with little gems that make the software far more useful.

Is there a discount for buyers of the earlier video tutorial of Capture One Version 5?

I have finished downloading these C1 tutorials and they are excellent...a wealth of information.  I use both C1 and Lightroom, as they both have their strong points and these new C1 videos will really help me make the best use of this software processing program.  Thanks, Eleanor

Is the video quality better than in the "B&W processing" sample? The sample is really unpleasant to watch because of its poor quality.

Yes, the tutorial files are better quality. What you are looking at is a low bitrate version coming off Vimeo.

It does help if you switch on the HD when viewing and do not go full screen on a large monitor.

I have increased the preview size on the page.

Is this guide included if I buy a subscription now? And if so is your promo-code valid?

Chris

I now feel conned.

You give a "sneak preview" at the new C1 Pro video and allow people to buy it a few days before announcing the new subscription model for your videos. If you had announced the new subscriptions alongside the release of the C1 Pro video I would've paid the extra to take up the subscription, but not at the moment, I'll wait until LuLa comes up with the promised new content and then consider subscribing.

As for the guide itself, I didn't think the tutorial was upto LuLa's usual standard. I'd prefer it if Michael drives the videos, as opposed to looking like he is a tailor's dummy and seeming bored for most of the video. Nothing against Kevin, it just didn't feel like a LuLa Guide to ... video. Fair enough if Michael is loosening the reins in view of recent events, but in my view Michael is the Luminous Landscape.

Apologies for the complaints, but I felt it was necessary to vent.

My apologies. I had not considered my announcement of the C1 tutorial here on the forum to be a con...not my intention at all

If you would like to subscribe, please email me and I will give you the equivalent discount on a subscription.

Cheers Chris.

I didnt think it was intentional, just a little mistimed.

I generally pre-announce a product on the forum by a day or so and will continue to do so.

I watched all of the C1 videos and I learned a lot! I have been using C1 on and off since I purchased a digital back in 2008, but to date the training for using it has not be so user friendly for me. But this group of teachers/presenters and what they chose to highlight did the trick for me. I will still use LR, but C1 has a bit more to offer me. Thanks guys for putting it all together!

^^^^ I agree ^^^^^

I've signed up to several online tutorials and video courses. They can be dry and painful, albeit instructional. I really enjoyed the tone and content in this LULA CO video.
I find I'm going back to it constantly to check what I'm doing is right as i work with CO/
I've had CO for 6 or 7 years, and only really got to grips with it since this video came out.
