Has anyone tried the new Olympus with longer telephoto lens? If so is the auto focus better than with the OMD E5?

you really can find more user reports @ dpreview forums (both m43 and Olympus dSLR) and specific m43/43 forums.

I have read several of those reports (unclear) but I was (and still am) looking for user experience from folk with good knowledge like those who come to this site.

well, different people come here... I did not see anybody w/ "good knowledge" (knowledge of what ?) on this forum who actually has E-M1 in hands and long tele from __43__ system at all.

Ok, here is where things go crazy. I have a friend who dropped by with one of the Platinum 300 2.8's with an adapter. The darn thing took great photos. Seriously I think this is an awesome camera for folks that are tired of lugging around on travel, say a D800E and a Mark III. Every lens I tried worked so great. I suggest getting one of the fastest chips, past a class 10 but if you do it works great.

What is a Platinum 300? Do you mean a four thirds olympus 300 2.8? And if so do you get a chance to check to the focus on continuous tracking a subject?
Thanks

Sorry, yes the 300 2.8 from the 4/3 collection. Friend has a number of the lens and the 150 was good also.

Sorry to be the Camera Name Police, but the name of the camera you are asking about is the E-M1, the E-1 was Olypuses first interchangeable lens DSLR, released in 2003. About 5 Mpix if I recall.
Anyway, a number of people have posted about their experience with full 4/3 glass on the E-M1, on the 4/3 photo forums, including the longer glass:

In this forum there was some extensive discussion with samples.
