Which, of course, happened in Oz. They have been all set for years to do a MadMax sequel but there has been rain and all the parched desert scenes are in full bloom.

Maybe not a good idea: they did a couple at least, and the last one I saw - with Tina Turner and a lot of kids - wasn't very good IMO. Beyond Thunderdome, I think it was called. Anyway, Mel's lost the plot. Recasting doesn't always work: the only Bond I really liked was Connery. That's probably because I met him at the Scottish premier of Shalako, when I'd gone to shoot some publicity pix for a PR man; I'd hoped to meet Brigitte, but when I asked Mr C where she was, he gave the impression that she couldn't be bothered to come up north... Hell, she was the best reason for going to the damned event!
