Title: New 27" NEC monitor w/LED backlighting

I've been having screen resolution issues with my Retina MacBook Pro and my NEC 27" 2690 monitor via apple dual link adapter.

After speaking with tech support I learned that a new 27" monitor will be soon out.  Out now are the 24" and 30" versions.  Here is an example incase anyone is looking to update.

By the way, what do you think about the latest HP EliteBook mobile workstation with DreamColor display? (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1003863-REG/hp_8770w_35509258_a7g08av_elitebook_8770w_mobile.html?indepthcomputershands-reviewshp-mobile-workstations-dreamcolor) May it have the same resolution than yours? I need mobility so I´m thinking on buying one of these laptops.
Any feedback will be very welcome.
