Title: Keyboard shortcut or other?
Post by: jljonathan on September 16, 2013, 03:27:28 pm
Is there a shortcut library to get from the thumbnails or grid view to jump to the keyword panel into the box the type in keywords. I am always having to mouse into that box to type and then back again to the files.

Have you tried [CTRL/CMD][K]
You can also invoke the Keyword Panel with [CTRL/CMD][2].
To return to the Grid try [Esc][G]

Doesn't seem to do what I'm looking for. [CTRL/CMD][K] seems to turn on and off the painting of keywords. I'm looking for a way while I'm looking a thumbnails with arrow keys etc. to jump up into the keyword window and enter keyword tags without the mouse, and then move back to the thumbnails to cont. looking, again without the mouse.

Works fine here. Click on any thumbnail. Arrow a few times. [Ctrl/Cmd][K] takes me into the Keywording panel and activates the Add Keywords field.
[Esc] exits the field and takes me back to Grid.

Thanks Rikk. Yes it works here now, also command/shift/k takes me into the keyword box and highlights it.
