Title: Epson 11880 Firmware

Hello,

I have several Epson 11880s and after replacing motherboard found that the unit seems to work best with firmware version F0279B - November 27, 2009. This is the firmware that the replacement motherboard came pre-installed with. This version of firmware seems to eliminate most cartridge error problems.

Also I do not expect this to be a free service.

I'm unclear as to the point of your message - do you have a question or are you proposing a solutionproblem.

I have an 11880 running since mid 2010 with firmware F030A7 (10/13/2010) and have never had a cartridge error.  I have seen a couple of machines that seemed to get frequent cartridge errors, which has turned out to be physical damage ... a slight misalignment with the cabinets that hold the cartridges and the electronics.

If someone has the F0279B firmware USB version; I am looking to purchase it. Sorry should have made it clearer.
