If you delete the second image, I will ask you: which planet is this? Outstanding on all counts!

LOL  If you are going for surreal, why not make it look like the flows on my little island?  Looks like the lava was a little soupy that day.

In all seriousness, I love the water, as you captured it.  The composition is nice, but the texture of the water has just the right amount of silkiness to steal the show.  I'm not big on the red, but think that this would look great in sepia or B & W.

This is one of the best images I have seen here - or anywhere - for a while. The bottom of the waterfall and the red is simply outstanding and the detail is amazing. Some landscape purists may get a bit sniffy because of the contrasty processing but not me. Well done.

Boudewijn, Ron, stamper - thank you, all.

Ron, what surreal? It is the Doppler shift :-).

Great detail, enhanced by the pronounced verticals in the falls.
Not so sure about the red.

LOL  That strong a red shift must mean that you were moving rather rapidly away from the waterfall.  You must have had your track shoes on.  Are you sure that there was no lava involved?

Superb!

Ditch the color version.
