The Shrine of Remembrance is a memorial built to commemorate the men and women of Victoria (Australia) that had served in the First World War. My respect to all those brave souls.
A few days ago I saw some interesting subjects and I took these images (I had only my smartphone then) and did later some experiments in Post with SEP2.

Very nice, Francisco. It demonstrates once again, if another demonstration were necessary, that equipment isn't anywhere near as important as an eye.

Couldn't agree more Russ.
I had a very similar thought in looking at Michael Reichman's latest image on the homepage.
That result is very compelling and has nothing to do with the equipment used since Michael could be shooting with anything on a particular day.
I don't dismiss equipment and its importance but a great image is all in the eye of the shooter before it can possibly be captured.

Thanks Russ. I have to admit that for a long time I was more worried about equipment and technical knowledge but then realized (this forum helped me a lot) that practice and vision were more important (still a long way to go).

Thank you Peter, I worked on every image individually and not as a set, regarding style and processing. I haven't committed yet to a unique style, still in the process!

Very graphic imagery, and an object lesson to those still chasing the 'purchase' of success.
It's always been about what's inside the head rather than in the hands. But maybe that's best kept a secret.
