Title: Processing Scanned Negatives

I'll be having some negatives scanned soon. When I get the digital files (probably 8Mb Jpegs and a few TIFFS), how can I work with them on my computer before sending to a place like Kinko's for printing?

Software available is LightRoom-5, DxO and the NIK Suite. I'd be interested either in book or an online video tutorial.

Well, you COULD download Jeff and Mike's Lightroom tutorial(s)!!

....but remember that, with scanned film images, you will have much less information available for processing in Lightroom (or anything else) than you would have from a comparable digital Raw file. In particular, the highlights and shadows controls won't "reveal" any details which were not on the original film image.

Sorry if that seems just too obvious.
