Title: Canon Polished Rag on x400 printers; settings, profiles
Post by: William Morse on July 31, 2013, 02:45:11 pm
I've got my new Canon IPF8400 set up, along with the rolls of Polished Rag and Canon Hahn. German Etching, and have been very disapointed to find that Canon provides neither a paper setting nor profiles for either. Has anyone had any success with these paper/printer combos (including 6400,6450, or 9400 since I understand they would be the same)

Thanks, Bill

I used German Etching (canon's Hahnemuhle) on my 6100 - the canon profile is misleading but it is there and called "textured fine art".

And then there is this list from Canon USA - which I found recently and have not actually downloaded.

CORRECTION:  I see the above link is not for the wide format printers.  Nix that.
