Popped out a few nights ago to go a few miles down the road to where the Ythan River in Aberdeenshire starts to meet the sea.
Was a very calm night which produced some lovely twilight colours.
Took this panorama on a big curve in the river.

And this a bit earlier.

and as another addition to the post, earlier in the night I headed down to the old fishing village of Collieston where a very calm sea a hint of fog and a just setting sun allowed for this
sight looking towards the harbour pier.

Was a good night and all within 5 miles of my house instead of my usual 400+ mile round trips to the highlands!

Excellent set! My favorite is the pano, but Collieston Pier comes close.

The pier for me. Yummy!

Great photo location - followed by a few pints in the Udny Arms, no doubt.
Very well captured, Scott.

+1 but liked the panos as well.
Nice work.

Collieston Pier gets my vote. Between the sweet pier curve and the creamy sky/sea, it's a stunning photo. I also like the Ythan Estuary panorama.

I like them all, but especially the panorama.

Fantastic! For me the 2!
