Don't be sad, it's Windows AND Mac. The Mac version is actually further along the road, it's not beta.

cool - many thanks!

I didn't know Baselight. I've watched some videos and my impression is it's an extremely powerful software. Especially since you can view everthing without the need to render effects for preview purposes. As far as I can tell Baselight effects are only applied to clips, not to reels. Still ... it looks like a great tool!
