Hi,
my name is Chris and i come from germany ( sorry for my poor english). I'm new in the forum and want to show you my recent project: an 360 degree panorama of the milky way, photographed in the "Roques de Garcia", Tenerife Island.
http://www.360-grad-sachsen.de/panos/roques_de_garcia_nachts/roques_de_garcia_nachts.html
it is also featured by National Geographic Germany: http://www.nationalgeographic.de/wissen/unter-der-milchstrasse
What do you think about it? If you like the pano feel free to share it or give me a LIKE on my facebook page.
Thanks and best regards,
chris

Superb! Well worth the considerable effort this must have taken. Thanks for posting.
How many images comprise the pano? How did you compensate for star motion between the first and last exposures?
-
Chris, der ist ein großer Satz Schüsse!! Sehr gut getan, Übersetzung erfolgt durch Babylon, da ich nicht Deutsch: spreche :)

Thanks for your feedback! And thank you, Kevin for the translation! Very funny ;) Like that!
I did 10 images in total. A zenit shot helped me to avoid a gap between first and last shot. And photoshops blending algorithm is great.
Furthermore i did some corrections of exposure and contrast in lightroom. and i used a head lamp to "paint" the rocks in the foreground a little with light.
On the national geographic page is a small making-of, unfortunatly only in german. (Kevin, if you use Babylon translation you will have fun! ;D)
Thanks and best regards,
chris
