Title: Hasselblad HC120mm or CF 120mm

Hi,
had anybody some experience with the Hasselblad HC 120mm and (!) the one old CF120mm macro lenses if you use a CF Adapter on the H-system? Is the sharpness ok?

They are both excellent lenses but I would expect the HC version to perform better especially with the help of AF.

I'm pretty sure Hasselblad have mtf charts for both lenses on their site somewhere.

Hi,

The CF120 is optimized for close range and is not flat field at infinity. The HC-lenses are more modern designs with more uniform field performance. If you need excellent performance at infinity the Sonnar 150/4 is stellar. Hasselblad also has a 100/3.5 planar that is truly excellent.

The CF has flat field close up but curved field at infinity on P45+.
