I would prefer it to see a bit more of the flower on the upper side. But it is very nice this way too.

I like it a lot too.

Russ will shoot me, but I'd be tempted to crop in from the left and bottom just enough to eliminate the non-flower background. Or else do some creative cloning to fill in the background with parts of the dark petals.

Lovely as is.
