In LR5 smart collections allows to filter on " source color profile" . However when trying on f.i. "Adobe Standard" it does not work. It appears to only work on baked rgb files that have f.i. an sRGB profile. The help button does not give a clue, nor any of those coverage of Lightroom guru's like Juleanne etc.
What am i doing wrong?

I believe the answer you got on the LR forum nailed it: http://forums.adobe.com/message/5411798 (http://forums.adobe.com/message/5411798)

That's right. The filter is for the profile associated with the source/input image data, rather than one specified in the edits (Camera Calibration tab).

So i got it right it is for rgb files with an embedded profile, only a pity the camera calibration panel only shows "embedded".
Whilst i appreciate this option for RGB files, it would be great to have a filter option for camera profiles as well.

The filter is for rendered images with an ICC profile, not a camera profile. Having the ability to collect raw images via the DNG profile would be a nice feature (maybe you should request it).
