This was taken about 4 years ago while on a back country ski trip in Yosemite. It was cold and the snow was blowing.

That's really a very silly place to be during winter; you could freeze and then have your carcass eaten in spring!
Try the Virgin Islands. You might get lucky. I'm trying to find a way there - the Islands - for my own next winter.

At times I ask myself the same thing. My wife certainly wasn't going to stop while I set up my tripod. Still winter in the Sierra is tame compared to the Rockies. If it weren't for my love of skiing, I wouldn't do this. Oh and the skiing was terrible. I've been to the Virgin Islands and it was quite pleasant, maybe too pleasant. I sure could get lazy quick living in a tropical paradise. I really don't photography much in Yosemite unless the weather becomes unstable.
