I'm looking at trying Capture One Pro 7, but haven't found any information regarding making your own lens profiles (as is possible for ACR & Lightroom).
Is it possible ?
In particular I use a Samyang 14mm lens on a 5Dii which has a complex 'moustache' style distortion most standard controls won't correct. It's easily corrected with a custom lens profile in LR.
Yes, I know I could pass a final output file via PT Lens, but keeping the workflow within C1 would be the optimal choice.

Hi Rhossydd,
There is currently no option to make your own lens profile in Capture One.
We use quite a complex process which we believe makes for a better lens correction profile for more combinations of distance and aperture.
Due to this there is not yet an easy way to make this available to you.
Cheers,
David

Only if you support the lens though :(

Indeed that's regrettable. The possibility to make an own lens distortion correction would be nice (esp. for moustache corrections.).
In Bibble I could my own corrections using some of the tools from hugin (a freeware pano toolset, it can calculate distortions).
To do it good it was an evening work, but worth it.

I've built my own lens profiles for Lightroom and have been very happy with them. From start to finish it couldn't have taken more than about an hour.
