Can someone tell me how to set it so that my 645DF body does not ever go to sleep? it currently turns off after a few hours (even when it has battery, or like now when its on the AC adapter)

Since you have an IQ you can do it from the IQ screen...
DF Setup > Active Set > A
DF Setup > Setup A > Sleep Timer > Disable
