Title: River Moods 4
Post by: churly on May 09, 2013, 05:09:31 pm
Another set from a series I have been working on.  I got down into the tidal zone with the last two.
Critique welcome.

My favourite is #2. I like the smoothness and movement of the water, somewhat anchored by the rocks.

Hard to find a favorite in thith good set of images but I'm leaning toward #3, mostly because I like the contrast of the angular rock versus the other rounded shapes.

Another fine set.
1 & 2: the usual good stuff.
4: I like how the shapes in the rocks and water are balanced and compete for attention, it's a little unusual.

Thanks everyone for the comments!

I know the theme is getting a bit long in the tooth but I have been learning a lot by going back and 're-seeing' things.
I agree that #4 is a bit unusual.  Lots of interesting bits to see but there is no real resting point. That's why I chose to include it in the group.  It reflects a situation I find myself and people around me in, all too often.

I feel like the Lone Ranger, but like the third best of all and I think because of the lack of moving water.
