I am not sure if this is the right forum to post this, but anyway. Just wanted to say that I have bought Salgado's new book, on his Genesis project (that lasted for the last 10 years or so). He is one of my favourite photographers, and this new book is simply amazing.

Thanks Paulo,
I thought that this book had not yet been released. I'll have to go to the local bookstore next week.

I never claimed to be perfect (and not even half-perfect)!

Salgado's Genesis exhibition is at the ROM in Toronto presently. I will be there to see it in a couple weeks. Looking forward!

How about sailing to the other side of the Atlantic? Portugal had quite a lot of famous explorers?

you betcha! I had the wonderful privilege of seeing the exhibition of his "Workers" in Prague in 2005. The exhibition from the Leica Gallery of Prague was mounted in two railway cars which would go from station to station around the Czech Republic and Slovakia. A most unique way of exhibiting. http://www.lgp.cz/en/event/exhibition/sebasti%C3%A3o-salgado-workers.html
