Title: NX2 work flow

To those of you who use NX2 what is the first thing you do to process the imported image. Lets assume you have a landscape image of a waterfall with black and grey rocks,  do you adjust the white balance first, do you set the black or white points first or do you go into level and curves first?  I know how to use these features but I am having a problem deciding what to do first.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
