Title: Canon Pixma Pro-1 panorama photo support.
Post by: johnnyngai on April 08, 2013, 12:00:29 am
I interested in this printer, however, I found the the custom size paper setting is limited to 26", and therefore, it is not quite suitable for printing panorama photos.

I want to know if anyone has experience of extending this limitation? I have a lot of photo in panorama.

It's sometimes possible to get Qimage to over-ride the length limit.  Be careful though, since these length limits are sometimes there to prevent head overheating from prolonged continuous use.

the smaller Canon printers do seem to have a smaller max size than the equiv Epsons.

You may want to look at the R3000 from Epson.  (The 3880 has a length limit of 37.4")
