I'm looking for 'a better way' to deliver small prints. I used to use the individual card folder/mount type of packaging, but with ink-jet prints (I do all my own printing) the chance of fingerprints is too great, especially if the customer takes it out of the mount to place in a frame.
I've checked Crystal Clear bags for a box, but they're at least 5/8" thick which is overkill for just a few 5x7s - and I'm trying to avoid using just a clear plastic bag.
What creative ways have you come up with for delivering these small products?

Mike, I'm not sure what you mean by "deliver". If you are just handing it to them why not use the clear bags with backing boards? I also ship prints like this with a couple more backing boards to stiffen a large envelope.

That's exactly what I mean.... but I want to step it up a bit from the clear bag and backing board. Create a better presentation. some kind of box, wrapping, folder, something that can hold a few prints (rarely more than a dozen) and be appealing in itself - but not cost an arm and a leg (ie. more than the prints!)

I've checked all of Clear Bags boxes... and they're at least 5/8" thick... a little overkill for two or three prints. Those are designed for greeting cards. I tried a couple, but it just didn't do the job I want. Something like the ones with the clear lids, but maybe 1/4 to 3/8" would probably work, but can't seem to find anything like that.

Hi Mike, if you look for custom cardboard boxes in Barrie they can make 5.5x7.5x1inch boxes for you for less than a dollar each.
