Out and about, looking for something to try my new lens on (first zoom lens I've had in years).

I like this one very much. The colors are so subtle it's practically monochrome. But I wouldn't want to convert it to b&w. I think it's just right the way it is.

Don't know about the lens, but love the shot and that type of subject/treatment.

Me too. It really sings.

I agree with the others. It is a fine image that immediately catches your eye. Do you have other images from different angles? A subject that deserves to be explored from different viewpoints.

Marv, this is a very fine image.
The geometry you have captured is very appealing.
The limited colour palette is also a strength.

I'm with Rob on this one. Great shot!

Very nice, Marv. I can hear the wind whistling through those cables.

Thanks, all, for the comments.
Re the lens, for a number of reasons, I gave up a Zeiss 100mm prime and picked up a Nikon 70-200 VR II. Still wondering if I did the right thing.....
Re different viewpoints, I was restricted by water in front, construction site to the left and bushes to the right so this was just about it.
Re the wind whistling through the cables, this is the bridge where a couple months ago, ice bombs fell onto over 100 commuters driving under the cables. I think they heard the wind whistling as well, but not in a good way.

That's funny. For some reason, I can see this as a Bedard "Duck" drawing.

All been said. Very well done.
