I'm looking for some crystal clears bags and have found a place in canada called clearbags.ca. The problem i'm having is that they seem to have a ton of different sizes but almost none of them are good for a 4x3 aspect ratio photograph. For example I want a bag that will fit a 40x30 inch image that I print on a 44 inch wide roll. So with me getting a 2 inch margin on both sides I need a bag that is 44x34 to have the packed image look nice without one side of the bag having to much unused real estate. They don't seem to have anything that size so I'm wondering if there is another place I could look at and if there is some company that takes orders for custom sizes. Any suggestions would be great.

It seems like they have the same issue, they top out at 40x30 which does not take the 2 inch margin on each side of the paper into account.

Thanks to the previous help from members of this site, I just ordered a bag of bags my '13x19's and '17x35' prints. Loved the extra marginal space, their Customer service was excellent. Ordered on Fri will in my hands by Wed. Shpg cost (~$15) is reasonable given the size and weight.
I also noticed the 'xtra big bags' and chimed in.
good luck irv weiner

Many others beat me to it, but... +1 for clearbags.com. Just ordered 2000 bags from them yesterday :)

with the relaitvely low cost per bag it is exceptionally easy to trim the bags witha razor and ruler if you find something too long. I often drop 24x24 prints in a 24x30 bag and trim a few inches.

Seriously, what is up w/ that?
It feels somewhat dishonest to have you come here and hide behind multiple corporate entities.
Same thing w/ Atlex vs. itsupplies.com duo.

There are lots of reasons to have multiple names for one corporate entity. Most of them not dishonest nor malicious.
Usually, such as with Atlex and ITSupplies, due to merger/acquisition. Name recognition has aloe and not something you just throw away.

Followup on my ClearBags order. Bags arrived a day earlier, solidly packaged. ClearBags states Crystal clear-understatement!! This holds for my luster, matte paper media as well as my canvas media.
I placed a 17x22 B&W print (Leopard in Tree) in a bag, tacked it on a wall and found it impossible to take it down! And this from one who bans glass. If you are selling prints at a fair, outdoor art show or other communal activity the Crystal bags are perfect. A potential customer can inspect a chosen print from your 'boxed' sale prints without the need to pull that print out of the bag before payment--fingerprints not welcome.
Very satisfied customer, highly recommended. Found CB on this site several months ago, many thanks irv weiner
