Title: Where to go in early April?

Seems like I'll be able to travel in early April. What would be a good place in the continental US for a week to ten days?

Allegheny National Forest is an amazing, massive park. If you choose the northern part, the mountain laurel might be starting to bloom. Even if it isn't, the spring flowers and everything should be awesome. There is a nice waterfall (or series) that you could likely spend at least half a day at that stretches down from the top of one of the mountains. It has at least 10 scenic levels of waterfalls. It is called Bent Run Falls. I would highly recommend.

Southern Utah and northern Arizona. No place else has this concentration of national and state parks. Bryce, Zion, Grand Canyon, Grand Staircase-Escalante, Valley of Fire, Page slot canyons, etc. Not to mention BLM lands like Coyote Buttes, White Pocket, Nautilus and a huge number of lesser known sites. A true target rich enviornment!
