Title: Epson 4800 self destruction ?
Post by: larkis on March 10, 2013, 07:26:50 pm
I have had a clogged head on my 4800 epson and did the standard cleaning cycle that usually fixes the issue. What i noticed is that the printer unclogged itself for the most part on row 2, yet on row 3 it clogged a color that was not clogged before. As you can see in the attached image, the problem has gotten worse at each new row, almost as if the unclogging cycle is in fact a clogging cycle. The ink in the colors that are clogged is not low either.

I've had this occur w/ my 4880.  A few more cycles clears it up.
