Hi,
I'm considering using the DP2 Merrill for landscape shots. It appears that the jpg images this camera produces are even more useless than other jpgs, so I will need to shoot RAW. Problem is that i've heard horror stories on how sigma's special raw format does not work with lightroom but only their weird "photopro" software.
before buying the camera i would like to test this software, which i have downloaded. however i cannot find raw-files anywhere. Could you point me to a place where I can get a few samples (straight out of camera raws), or maybe if you shoot this camera would you mind uploading a few?
Best regards from Switzerland!,

Thanks for the info! I'm still on the hunt for a native DP2 raw file, in fact I even searched the Japanese boards for "DP2Mのx3fファイル" but it appears there are no x3v-files anywhere.
Can somebody help?

Hi MS,
You can find some X3F RAW files on this web site: http://www.photographyblog.com/reviews/sigma_dp2_merrill_review/sample_images/
Scroll down to "Sample RAW Images". You can download the Sigma software here (http://www.sigmaphoto.com/service-support/product-software-and-firmware-download).
