Hello everybody, I just posted an article ON MY BLOG (http://madshutter.blogspot.com/2013/02/a-comparison-sigma-dp-merrills-vs-nex-7.html) comparing the Sony Nex-7 equipped with Sigma 19mm & 30mm lenses with the Sigma DP1 & DP2 Merrill, featuring beautiful Venice images.
A teaser: Sigma DP2 Merrill:

Hey Jim,
thanks for the heads up - now all links work. Thanks again,

That was great.
Thanks for posting the comparison.
For my money the added resolution always wins out.
I have the same Merrill combination. And so far they are a joy to use in spite of their shortcomings.
Somone else said this but I agree, "These little cameras are a revolution."

Indeed! If not a revolution, the enjoyment I get from looking at these files makes it worth dealing with all the software, speed, battery quirks of these little beasts... ;D
