It's interesting. The light catching the vertical in the middle holds the eye. I wonder if it wouldn't be improved if the right-hand third or so were removed, though: I find the pale area in the upper right corner distracting.

I prefer the lighter colors of the first photo but I have yet to form an opinion on framing.
Both images are very nice, I love the look of the luminescent ice.

Slobodan: I was indeed laughing as I took this. The angle of the sun was changing every moment and I felt lucky to happen upon the right time.
