Title: Ideas/Art that changed history
Post by: Patricia Sheley on February 03, 2013, 05:10:07 pm
I had been moving through the photographs of Peter Dombrovski when I happened on
the photo, "Morning Mist, Rock Island Bend", Franklin River, Southwest Tasmania, Australia

which led me to this podcast

...one photo, art changing the world. In light of the discussions in diverse directions concerning art, power, evocation, worth of landscape photography, etc of late on these forums I enjoyed the step to these experiences ... it is rather longish, but throughout a wonderful reference to the power of a photo. Toward the end among several interviews is one short with Peter before he died, young, while at work photographing in the mountains.
