Title: Canon 5DIII: Focus Point Discrepancy
Post by: walter.sk on January 30, 2013, 02:32:30 pm
I don't know whether this is something that should, or even can, be adjusted by Canon:  Using the center focusing point in Single AF, I line it up with a specific target point and shoot.  When I view the image on the LCD, the little red square is displaced by about half of its width to the left.  This is consistent at all focal lengths, apertures and lenses.

I don't believe my focusing is off, as what I focus on usually is spot on when I view the image later, in LR or Photoshop.  Should I just forget about this, or is it something that Canon should adjust?
