Title: Icescapes
Post by: churly on January 22, 2013, 07:16:32 pm
Not the classic landscape - perhaps a bit more like rust art.  I shot these on the windows of our greenhouse.
Might be a lot of fun for someone interested in ice kinetics.

Thanks for looking in.

I quite like these, particularly the first one. I think it would do well printed large on metal.

I cannot choose a favorite but #2 (for the metallic look) and #3 (for the rounded shapes of frozen stuff) are very nice.

Thanks everyone for the comments.  It's nice when there is room to play with photography.  There is certainly a lack of any narrative in these but lots of room for imagination.

Gorgeous. I'm seeing some PacMan figures in there. Maybe it's just me.

Very nice. I just love the complexity you've seen somewhere where most people wouldn't spot anything special. I was just wondering if adding a flashgun outside the window (or waiting for the sun to come out) would make a difference here?
