It's good - but it's a shame about the street lamp.

It wouldn't be hard to remove it from the photo. As it is, the lamp is probably in the best possible place.

The street lamp doesn't bother me. I like it just as it is.

Unless the point of the picture is intended to be unidentified diagonals in fog I think the lamp is an important part of the picture. Without the lamp, the only reason to see this as a bridge is the title. But the lamp belongs closer to the right side of the picture -- about a third of the way in from the edge. Yes, I know, everybody will tell you that we shouldn't genuflect to the rule of thirds, and occasionally that's an attitude that fits the situation. But not this time.

I'm anti-lamp on this one. I like the colours and composition.

There are strong graphical elements in this image and lovely light. In short there is a lot to like. I do think it would be stronger without the light pole though as its counterproductive to the strong ordered geometry.
Great capture.

Thanks, all, for the comments. To my right was some very cold river water, to my left a thicket of brambles, so I was quite restricted in what I could do with the composition. Having said that, I kind of like the inclusion of the lamp.
