Title: In need of advice as I require a cheap camera that can shoot 1080i50Please help!

Hi all!

I shoot with an Sony EX1R and I am looking to purchase a cheap handheld camera that shoots the same HD footage so that I don't have issues with using the footage in an edit.

I am shooting at 1080i50 with the EX1R and with my very tight budget I would like to use something that can capture a different angel as back up.

I have looked at the Panasonic HC-V700 which says it shoots 1080i but I was looking for some expert info in what I should be buying.

Many thanks in advance!

To the best of my knowledge most/all PAL region Sony handicams offer 1080i50 and so do all their higher end P/S cameras and DSLRs.
