Simon I am coming to the inescapable conclusion that you are a closet sadist posting all these beautiful images.
All we can do is view them and grind our teeth.
I am trying to escape my New Year blues - so off to the medicine closet for the Prozac!

There we go again - posting very nice pictures that make me long so badly of getting my tent and tripod out... Well done!

At last! Lighthouses. These make you a proper photographer. Even if they're Welsh, not New England lighthouses, they're lighthouses just the same. And very good ones too.  ;)

The shot of the Menai Bridge is a classic, nicely done.

I didn't care much for the other series because of the (to my eyes) overdone hard local contrast, but the "Llanddwyn Island sunset" in this series is absolutely outstanding. I envy you for being at the place at the time and having shot that beautiful image.

(And btw: do we have a lighthouse thread yet? might be useful to start one).

Thanks everyone for the feedback...you can why Prince William & Kate Middleton like living on Anglesey, some stunning locations, they've been seen a few times wandering along Llanddwyn Island and I don't blame them, my favourite coastal location in North Wales by far

Thanks Shaun, must admit I'm quite fond of the mono shot too

Second and third images are fantastic. The others, for me, are almost on the same level but it's a matter of taste and preferences.
