Thanks - a nice read!
I wonder, would there be enough interest for a new Fuji dSLR as well? The image sensor is offering something different after all.

 The trans x even in a D 7000 body would be really useful.

had an entire XPro1 kit and agree with everything you've written.

In many cases I like the OOC image better than the D4 I also keep. Speaking RAW here BTW.

While it's no match in terms of high ISO or spped of any variety, it's a very pleasing camera and I may go back once the XPro2 comes along. I just hated the focus (even with 2.0) for what I do. Currently intoxicated by the RX1 as a walin' around camera

I can't speak to a D4, but the high ISO results i get fron the X 100/ Xpro 1, are more pleasing to me than than those from my D 700.
