Title: UV resistant
Post by: OSP on December 19, 2012, 10:59:23 am
what would be the best UV resistant solution for prints? if I don't want to print on solvent + over laminate. glad if anyone have a recommendation for a specific product.
what would you use as mounting boards for a multipanel work, hanged tight? one that would not bow over time, etc.

Spray with Breathing Color's Timeless varnish or PremierArt's ECO Print shield.  I'm using the Timeless varnish applied with a Wagner Control Spray Max, as recommended by Breathing Color.  I tried using a foam roller but I wasn't able to get an even coat on my 30x60" print.

For mounting board, I haven't figured out what to use yet.  Dibond, masonite, Sintra, Gatorboard are options, just trying to find the best balance between permanence and price.
