Title: Import order in LR
Post by: petermarrek on December 14, 2012, 12:19:27 pm
I have over 24000 images in my LRcatalogue. Just found some older hardrives and would like to import some of the images into my catalogue. Is there a way to choose where they go into the catalogue or better yet can I move them once they are in the catalogue? Peter

One you import them, you can view them in numerous ways. Primarily it will be based on the folder structure, but you can also sort them by capture time or added order, or several other options.

In the library grid view, hit the "T" key to see the bottom toolbar and chose the Sort: option that you prefer.

Sorry for my lack of knowledge, where do I find the library grid view?

Thank you Sheldon, I found it, now I have a few days of sorting to do. Peter
