Title: L bracket for a GH3
Post by: Tim Gray on December 09, 2012, 12:32:00 pm
Any advice on an L bracket for a GH3?  It may be a while before RRS comes out with one (or even if).  In any event I thought I'd try a generic L so I don't have to buy a new one for each new body. I see 2 options:  Arca Swiss, or Acratech.  I'm leaning towards the Arca since it seems a bit smaller than the Acratech.  I think a generic L might be a reasonable option - I think I could have the vertical arm (in landscape mode) on the right side so the screen can easily pivot. The RRS for the GH2 was "OK" but the screen did pivot into the vertical arm.  The Acratech would be easier to remove for handheld though.

Any thoughts?

or even the Kirk, or Jobo have something similar.

Hi Tim,
This is the one I use for cameras I don't want to invest in a dedicated bracket. Very straight forward and easy to use.

Hejnar makes universal L-brackets in different sizes. One of them might work.

Ken,

That looks like a great alternative.

Thanks,
