I am not sure if this works?

My eye goes straight across the bay to the light. The trailer seems lost in the busy foreground and water.

The foreground is strong and full of interest.
The middle ground - the water - works well.
The background seems to be very weak with very little to balance the composition.
The lights on the far shore do draw the eye across the water - not a bad thing in itself - however there is nothing of real interest to keep the attention there.

I am not sure how the colour version would look.

Those of us who shoot landscapes regularly probably have several images like it - the almost but not quite result.
Well worth posting though.

I' seeing this photo as two images (or two subjects). My eyes either stay on the trailer or forget the the trailer and stay on the water and distant landscape.

Thanks for the feedback. The doubts raised mirror my thoughts. I think anyone seeing it that knows the scene might like it better.
