Yes, #1 would be a lovely card, but it is #3 that's captured me... Brightening the upper left globally would really let it sing!
Envious of the location and the day...
(clarification: by which I mean in the area somewhat vignetted and greyed, just at the point of entry to the image, casting (subliminally) a palor there, instead of joyful entry into the quite beautiful vista... this business of trying to remark on our instinctive reads of images we like is difficult for me, because once drawn I try to understand the what and how of the influences...) ...but always offered with sincere interest and desire for understanding...

I have tweaked the light in a few places, including the corner you mention. I had already toned down the vignetting in the first version, so we have been thinking along the same lines.
