Title: Capture One 7.0.1 opens all files read only

Unbelievable I was happy to finally get a stable version and downloaded and installed.
After starting all files are read only?!??!
Now I can't process any files and not do anything.
Whats wrong?!

I hope anybody can help me :)

The most likely cause is that you enabled the program as Capture One DB, not Capture One Pro (activated or trial). Check the About screen. In addition you have files from a DSLR, not a Phase One or recent Leaf back.

If this is the case, deactivate from the Capture One > License menu and start the program as Pro (either Activate or Try).

thanks this helped, I wonder though why a downloaded demo version starts in db mode :)
I had trial 7.0 running and always had to click on test while starting.

anyway at least now I can find out if it's possible to go through some editing without constant crashes :)
really love the colors, but it's a pain to use.
Highlight recovery is useless compared to other tools.
